Dagaly Lido Budapest – Dagaly Strand
Dagaly has been one of the locals’ favourite ‘strands’ (as lido is called in Hungarian, ‘shtrond’) since it opened its gates in 1948. In the early years Dagaly pools were filled with natural thermal waters from the springs under the river Danube, later on from the thermal wells under the City Park, which also supplies the queen of Budapest baths, Szechenyi Spa Bath.
Dagaly is located within 15 – 20 min from the city centre.
